Each VERTEX uPVC profile comes to you with excellent design structure, color and size. Even though we supply the best of the best range with required Assistance, it’s a fabricator’s expertise that matters the most to get the best out of our uPVC profiles. So it is highly recommended that you fabricate and install with due diligence.

Types of Doors and Windows
Ceasement Windows
A casement window is a window that is attached to its frame by one or more hinges at the side. They are used singly or in pairs within a common frame, in which case they are hinged on the outside. Casement windows are often held open using a casement stay. Windows hinged at the top are referred to as awning windows, and ones hinged at the bottom are called hoppers.
Tilt and Turn Windows
A tilt and turn window can both tilt inwards at the top, like a hopper window, or open inwards from hinges at the side. The tilt position provides draft-free ventilation and rain protection. In the turn position, Tilt & Turn windows act as casement windows, swinging their full glass area open.
Outside or Inside Opening windows
In regions with a warm climate, outward-opening windows may be preferred to promote ventilation while minimizing rain intrusion. In contrast, in
regions with colder climates, inward-opening windows may be favored for better insulation and protection against harsh weather conditions.
Sliding Windows
UPVC sliding windows are the easiest to operate. They comprise of 2 or more sashes with nylon rollers fitted at the base for swift movement of the sashes horizontally. They offer a wide view, excellent amount of ventilation and you do not need to reach high or bend to open/close them since they open horizontally.
Arch Windows
An arch window has the bottom half of the window in a rectangular shape while the top is an arch or semi-circle. Arch window designs add a unique and interesting vibe to a room and give a contrasting effect when paired with the straight corners of rectangular windows and walls.
Fixed Windows
The purpose of uPVC Fixed Windows is to provide architectural completion and aesthetical framing of the house. As the name suggests, they are fixed and don’t have any moving or operable parts. Usually these windows are installed at a height where ample amount of sunlight can enter the
room.

Locks and Hinges
uPVC casement windows have what are known as friction stays on the locks and hinges. These operate by adding friction to make the window stiffer to open or the opposite, less friction, making it easier to open. To fix a stiff or loose window, simply turn the screw the right way to adjust the friction stay on the window hinge. All locks, hinges and other metal fixtures used in our Window and Door Systems are also available separately
with us.
Friction Stays
Friction stay hinges are variable torque hinges used for security and for providing safe opening and closing of windows. They are adjustable hinges placed in a slide to provide controlled movement of windows. Standard Friction Stay Hinges are the most common and are used in most windows.
Tilt & Turn Hardware
Tilt and turn windows operate in two ways: as an inward door-style opening window on a left- or right-hand side hinge or as an inward tilt-opening window, engaging a hinge at the bottom. The turning function works by opening the window fully inward on its side hinges, enabling the window
to open like a door.
Handle With Locking System
This locking handle can easily be replaced for standard handle. It is mainly used as a child safety feature, to prevent the children from opening the window.
Shutter System
A roller shutter can be incorporated into the window or door at the top. This becomes and integrated part of window or door system. The shutter is normally operated by hand.
Swing Grooved Wheel Roller
Swing mechanism enables the Roller wheels to negotiate undulations on the track better. Enables a smoother and rattle free movement of the Sash.
Espagnolette Locking System
An Espagnolette locking system, sometimes called an Espag, is the flat metal strip which runs up the locking side of a window and moves when you turn the handle. They have little round studs on them called mushrooms which slot into and out of the window receivers when the handle is turned.
